MY LEGACY TIMELINE
At the age of 15, I went on a journey that would test my resilience and shape my future in profound ways. Living on my own from such a young age, I faced a myriad of challenges that many would find insurmountable. I navigated the harsh realities of homelessness, moving in and out of shelters, and enduring abusive relationships. Despite these adversities, I upheld my commitments and pursued my dreams with unshakable confidence and a deliberate creator mindset.
After years of pain and misdiagnoses, I faced additional health challenges that compounded my struggles and mental health. I battled anxiety and PTSD, all while maintaining a strong, solid face to the world and the powerful rooms I was in- I could not show weakness. Nobody knew the extent of my struggles when I was living out of my car while finishing my interior design degree. Nobody knew I was refining my mindset for success through sheer willpower and determination of aligning towards the identity I saw myself as, Not by the cards I’ve been dealt with..
MY LEGACY TIMELINE
I refused to deny, disregard, or dismiss my emotions or mental health issues. Instead, I chose to refine, pivot, and learn more about my body and mind and holistic care. My commitment to understanding my nervous system and mental health led me to obtain certification in neuroscience techniques. Over the past 15 years, I have been reprogramming my mindset for success, driven by my will to change, to be better, and to not be at the mercy of the challenges life threw at me.
Despite not having a powerful start in my legacy concerning finances and opportunities, I prevailed. I created opportunities and turned the lemons life handed me into a legacy of leadership and growth. My background in ballet dancing, modeling school, runway, and film, combined with my inner work of understanding nutrition, health, and mindset, has prepared me for this bold decision...
“It’s time I take my legacy to new heights. It’s time to show all women they can make it out of any challenge with ease, INTEGRITY and grace.”
MY LEGACY TIMELINE
Participating in the Miss Universe Jamaica pageant was never part of my original plan, but it aligns perfectly with my top-priority legacy timeline. I aim to be an active participant and leader in my community, challenging the stigma around mental health and demonstrating the importance of awareness and recognition. My journey is a testament to the power of resilience, the importance of mental health, and the impact of a legacy mindset.
Join me as I take on this new opportunity with unshakable confidence, deliberate actions, and a commitment to refining not only myself but also the world around me. This is a bold step in my legacy leadership, and I am ready to inspire and empower others to do the same.
